Understanding project locking

- We have seen and by now I am sure you have noticed that the icons that represent the projects in the production panel mean different things. A project in here can present in different states, locked, open, read only and closed. Let's check it out. Go ahead and open the production included with your exercise files. In here, go to the folder named oh three working project and double click on Branding. As you can see by the icon here next to the word Branding, we are actually editing this project. So we are on a read write project. If another editor were to be working in one of the other projects, we would see a lock. Now you can see that the first pass has a lock in it. And that is because another editor is working on it. If I make this smaller, we'll be able to see that our friend Walter is actually working on that First Pass. If I double click First Pass to open it up, I find that I can open it up. Now let me try to…
