You need to have the project that contains the original sequence open and in read-write status. Let's close all the projects. File, close all projects. You may save if you want. And now let's open the project called second pass. Let's also open the project named third pass and let's create a sequence into the third pass project Control + Command + N ABC Interest's fine. 1080P at 30 frames per second.
