For example, an infection of the ear can cause blockage…creating someone's temporary inability to hear.…If left untreated, it can create permanent damage…that can cause a loss of hearing.…Also, age or other factors such as caused at birth…can be a cause of deafness.…Hearing loss can be caused by a number of different factors.…Some of them permanent, some of them temporary.…Things such as genetics and aging…tend to lead to permanent conditions.…
However, exposure to really loud noises…can lead to temporary or hearing loss.…Some infections.…Birth complications.…Trauma to the ear such as a physical injury…
