Throughout our training, we're going to take a look at several effects that you…could use to process your images.…When you do this, the effect will actually modify the footage on the screen.…Now I want to show you a standard technique to AB or toggle it off and on, and…you're going to need this as a sanity check.…This is going to allow you to see the before and after, so you can gauge if…you've gone too far, or if the effect is actually helping you.…Here's how it works.…I'll select a clip in the timeline and this particular clip has two…effects already applied.…
You'll see in this case the Effect Controls tab.…If you don't see this, just look for it.…In the color correction workspace, it'll be in the upper left corner.…If you're in your standard workspace, it might be docked with the Source Monitor.…You'll notice next to each effect, the letters fx, and this allows you to toggle…an effect on and off.…So in this particular case, you'll notice that I first applied a Fast Color Corrector.…And this pulled the overall brightness down substantially to recover some of the highlights.…
