Toggling the Lumetri effect to compare
- Sometimes when you work with a shot, it's useful to toggle the visibility. That's because you're naturally going to have a tendency to overdo it. By comparing the before to the after state, it's a lot easier to judge if you're moving in the right direction. Let's go to our next shot here, and I'll take a look at this particular scene. Now, I like it in general, but I want to see where we came from. So with the shot highlighted here, you'll see the Lumetri Color effect at the top. What you don't want to do is reset. Rather, you can click the FX here to toggle the bypass. So, this helps me see what's happening. In this case, I like the original shot, but I also like the creative color grade. But I feel that the vignette is a bit strong. So I'm going to back off the amount and adjust the midpoint here a little bit so it's not so aggressive.
