Storage requirements

- When it comes time to start actually working with your footage, there's going to be a lot of storage requirements, particularly if you're shooting RAW. That might be on set in the field or back at the editing suite. These new recording formats that we have these days are very robust. We've got the XQD, Cfast. These types of cards are really fast, but ultimately, these don't plug directly into the computer. So we're going to have to transfer those and put them someplace. Yeah, so these camera-specific cards, like you find with the Sony format and the CFast, The CFast is more of a universal kind of format. - [Rich] It is, it looks like a regular compact flash card, but it's not going to work with a normal compact flash reader. - Right. The important part that you're getting at is that, yes, besides just having the physical card to go into your device, often times you're going to also have to think about a way of interfacing with that particular card to get it over to a laptop, or to…
