- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to take a look at adding a few blurs onto this clip inside the chapter 2_04 sequence that you can access in the chapter 2 bin included with these exercise files. Now, in the Effects tab that's showing up here on the right within my Effects workspace, I'm going to head to the Video Effects section and to the Blur & Sharpen category. We can see that some of our blurs are accelerated. The directional and gaussian blur, and that we also have a few others, such as Compound, as well as Channel. Let's apply the Gaussian Blur and just add this to our clip. And with our clip selected, we can press Shift + 5 to go to Effect Controls. The Blur Options are fairly simple once we scroll down past our fixed effects. We can increase the blurriness. Let's set it to 20. As well as control the dimensions of the blur.
