Sharing a project file

- If you need to collaborate with another person, or you want to move the material to another machine, you're going to need to take that project file with you. It's important to note that the project file doesn't really contain media. Now, there are a few things like bars and tone, solid colors, and other items like that, perhaps titles, that are, in fact, generated by the project file, but all other media is not included with the project file. Let's talk about the project files for a moment. I'm going to open up a project that we're going to be editing with. You'll notice that the path for the project file is in the title bar here. So if you have any difficulty locating the project file, you can easily track it. Before you go and send this to someone else, make sure you take a look if there's an asterisk. The asterisk indicates that the project has unsaved changes. I'll choose Command + S or Control + S for save, and you notice the asterisk disappears. I suggest that you close the…
