…I also like to use blending modes as a secondary color correction tool.…I find that it's a very useful way to emphasise a particular color.…Let's build this one from scratch.…I'll place an adjustment layer over my sequence.…On this adjustment layer I'm going to use a channel mixer effect.…This essentially allows me to boost a channel.…There it is, under Color Correction.…And on its own, everything stays the same.…But you'll see the ability to work with reds, greens, and blues.…
So you can boost the red or pull it down.…Well that gets a bit strong.…Changing the blending mode into something like soft light makes this a bit gentler.…So now, I can boost the reds or pull them down as a secondary control for spill.…Maybe I want to take those greens and reduce them a little bit.…And this is an easy way to balance things out in a more gentle, natural way.…I like using soft light mode for this same task.…Besides channel mixer.…There are a couple of other effects in…the color correction category that you can use.…
