- [Instructor] Both Photoshop and After Effects has the ability to reduce the amount of noise on the clip. Noise reduction can be very time consuming, and, I would like to encourage you to consider some of the third-party plugins on the market, for removing noise. But, even those can be quite slow, as well. That's because, it has to go frame by frame, and do quite a bit of cleanup. But, let me show you some of the options that are built in to Adobe's tools. Let's start here with a pretty dark shot. And, underexposed footage is often prone to seeing some noise. It's easiest to see this, if you view this at 100%. This will show you the most detail in the image. Additionally, you might want to view individual channels as a grayscale image. This can help you see the noise. Now, let's brighten this shot up a little bit. And, it will be definitely easier to see. I'll choose the Footage layer here, and apply, under Color Correction, the Lumetri effect, Lumetri color, and, let's just open up…
