- Hi, I'm Jeff Greenberg. Welcome to this Premiere Pro Guru title about online/offline workflows. We're gonna be taking a deep look at these workflows, and, of course, I give you the warning, please test everything first. We're gonna take a good look at what they are, why you should be using proxy workflows. We're gonna talk about ingesting building proxies from the start, choosing different presets along with codecs, different media locations. We'll talk about what you can do if you wanted to start it after the fact if you started in the browser and not during ingest, and attaching proxies after the fact or full resolution copies.
We'll spend some time in Media Encoder specifically building a custom proxy and a custom ingest preset. Last, we're gonna talk about how to both export a high-quality master or, if you really want to, a proxy as well as a good idea of a configuration to be able to work remotely via proxies over a cloud like Adobe's Creative Cloud. Come on, let's get started in this exciting workflow class.
