- Hi, my name's Rich Harrington and in this course we'll be exploring using look up tables and look files with Adobe Premiere Pro. There's a lot of great reasons to use this in your workflow as it can save time and make it easier to collaborate with others. In this course we're going to explore a lot of different topics. First up, we'll take an in depth look at what is a look up table and how is a look different in an Adobe workflow. We'll also talk about how these behave and some of the different file formats that are available.
I'll then walk you through the essentials of working with look up tables. We'll explore both applying a corrective look up table or something from a camera manufacturer when dealing with footage shot in a log format. Then we'll also explore using creative looks to stylize your footage. We'll then examine the process of creating a look up table. We'll use tools like Premier Pro itself but also take a look at other utilities such as using Photoshop or Adobe Capture which is a free app available for smartphones and tablets.
And finally, we'll explore the process of managing your look up tables and looks. How to use things like the libraries inside of Creative Cloud as well as create your own presets. Plus, we'll focus on collaboration. How you can share those with other users as well as move into an application like After Effects. We've got a lot of ground to cover so let's get started.
