- Hi, my name's Rich Harrington, and today we're going to explore fixing color and exposure problems in video footage. To do this, I'm going to use Adobe Premiere Pro, specifically the Creative Cloud Edition. Most of the time, we'll be taking advantage of the powerful Lumetri Effect, which contains several corrections in one effect. You'll also learn to use scopes and the color correction workspace to feel confident in your adjustments. Along the way, we'll explore a few specialty effects as well Things like the video limiter to ensure that the video is broadcast ready, or the change to color effect to make a very specific and targeted color change.
We'll also jump into after effects to take advantage of any effects or filters there that can be useful for fixing exposure or color. While I'm a big fan of getting it right in camera, the truth is there's almost always something that can be done during post production. Even the best shot footage can benefit from a little extra attention to color and exposure. Perhaps it's a moving cloud that suddenly changes the lighting levels, or a color that has to be specifically targeted to match brand standards for a corporate brand.
In any case, there are many things you can do during post to make your footage look its best. I'd like to thank you for joining me for this course, and we've got a lot of ground to cover as we explore how to optimize the exposure and color in your video footage using Adobe Premiere Pro.
