- Hi, I'm Todd Kopriva, technical support lead for Adobe Premiere Pro. I've worked for Adobe on the digital video applications for several years, and now, it's my job to share with you the new features of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. This workshop shows you all of the new and changed features in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. You'll see how to customize the user interface to suit your preferences and workflow. I'll show you how to trim more quickly and fluidly using keyboard shortcuts and many other new, dynamic trimming features. You'll see how markers have been made more flexible and convenient and how to bring in logged and trimmed clips from Adobe Prelude.
You'll learn how to repair problematic footage with the new warp stabilizer and rolling shutter repair effects. I'll show you how an improved three-way color corrector effect, an integration with Adobe SpeedGrade, make color correction and color grading much more user-friendly and convenient. You'll see how the new preset browser, additional and coding presets and improved scaling and copying features in Adobe Media Encoder make it possible to quickly set up outputs for multiple devices, broadcast standards and web video services. And, intermingled with all of these major changes, I'll show you a variety of user interface improvements and helpful tweaks that will make your work in Premiere Pro easier and more productive.
If you're new to Premiere Pro, after you've completed this workshop, you'll be ready to explore more in-depth courses on Premiere Pro CS6. If you're already familiar with Premiere Pro CS5.5, completing this course will get you ready to jump right in and start using the new and changed features of Premiere Pro CS6. I hope that you enjoy the training and go on to make some great movies.
