- [Instructor] If there is one audio effect worth taking the time to learn, it has to be the parametric EQ. This powerful effect gives precise control over audio level at different frequencies. Let's check it out. I've got an audio clip here that I previously applied the reduce reverb option to in the Essential Sound Panel, and we've lost quite a lot of the frequencies of the audio. Let's have a quick listen. It was considered impossible to clean up reverb. It's understandable, but clearly we can do better. I'm going to go to the effects panel and I'm going to type right at the top the letters P A R A to find the parametric equalizer in the search box. And we have three versions, but the one we want is just called parametric equalizer. I'll drag this onto the clip.
