Organizing media with the freeform view
- Premier Pro adds a new method for visually organizing your media. It's called the Freeform view, and what it does is allows you to drag things around on a canvas to get organized. Let me show you. To access this, you can switch to this new view. In the past, we had list and we had icons. But now we have Freeform. And what Freeform does is makes it quite possible to organize. So maybe I have some clips that I want to keep together. I can select these and drag them over here. If I want to add onto it, I can do so and start to place them. Now what you'll notice is it truly is freeform, but we have some options that are quite useful. If I click here and choose Freeform View Options, you'll see that we can choose if we want to see any particular information such as the name of the file or the media type.
