Normalizing the exposure and color

- Once that input LUT is applied, it's a good idea to take a look at your overall exposure and contrast. Remember, the input LUT will remap things for the camera, but you should still use the basic corrective sliders. Looking at this here, I've brought up my scopes. And it's pretty easy to see what's happening. Remember, clicking the icon here for the wrench will let you see the RGB parade which is quite useful as well as a histogram or a waveform. You can decide to look at what information is useful to you. In my case, I prefer to look at the waveform and the RGB parade. I can see that once this LUT has been applied that we have a few issues to address. The red's a little bit strong. Now, if you are curious, clicking the Auto button will often attempt to fix some of that. You'll see that it tried to white balance in, mostly balanced things out, but the reds are coming through a little bit strong. In this case, I can recover the highlights slightly.
