Nesting and unnesting clips

- There are two different ways Premiere can handle putting an Effect on multiple clips. The first one we're going to look at here is called Nesting. Nesting is literally putting one sequence into another. It's just like Russian nesting dolls, and we're going to spec, and just take these clips right here, and just the video clips, so I'll hold down the Option or Alt Key, just select those, and I'm going to right-click, and I'm going to choose here to Nest these clips. I'm going to Nest them intentionally with the name Child, because that's how I think of it. This is the Master clip, and then the Nest is the Child sequence, and you can see it's been replaced. It's still got all the clips there, with all the cuts, but they're inside of this container. I'll put an Effect on that, so I'll hit a Shift + 7 to pick an Effect. Maybe this time we'll take a Tint.
