Loudness radar
- The Loudness Radar Effect is a tool that lets you read the loudness of your program over time. If the audio will be used in a program destined for broadcast, you're probably aware that you need to comply with loudness standards. If you don't, the broadcast house may adjust your audio levels for you, or it might simply reject your program. You can also use this effect to compare the levels of the different clips of your program. Let's go ahead and open sequence 3.3 from your project panel. And you can see that this is the same sequence that we have been working before with the guitar, mandolin, etcetera. And let's go now to the Audio Track Mixer. In the Audio Track Mixer, let's add a Send. So in here we are going to create a Stereo Submix, and we are going to send all of our tracks to that Submix. Now, we can add the Loudness Radar Effect to the Master Track. Let's go ahead and maximize this so you can see it better. So, this is the Submix track, and this is the Master track, and now…
