Introduction to the Essential Sound panel

- [Voiceover] For awhile now, customers have asked Adobe to simplify audio production. Adobe's answer to these multiple requests is the Essential Sound Panel, which exists in both Premier Pro and Audition. Right here, you see that we are in the audio workspace and that we have the Essential Sound Panel here on the right hand side of our screen. I have one clip selected and from here, I can assign this clip any role. The roles can be dialogue, music, sound effects, and ambiance. If I select dialogue, I am presented with some choices in here which have presented in a logical order of operations. I can also clear the audio type. If I select music, I am presented with a different set of options. The same goes for sound effects. Finally, we have ambience. This panel is easy enough to use and it's very powerful. It guides editors through different tasks, like sweetening audio, for any of those roles. The editor would select one or more clips, assign the role that is necessary for that clip,…
