- Now besides descriptive audio, there are other issues to keep in mind with potential vision impairment. Some folks are color blind, so making sure that graphics read well for a color blind person is pretty important. Or perhaps people are accessing on monochromatic displays, or have issues with seeing contrast. There's a lot you can do to improve the readability of text and graphics. Now when we take a look at this, what we're paying attention to is this. Look at your graphics in a grayscale mode. Basically, stripping out the color and making sure that they're still readable. Also, consider looking at video on a grayscale monitor when shooting. This can help improve contrast ratios to ensure that the video is easy to truly interpret quickly. After all, contrast will affect how easy it is for a viewer to comprehend the information.
