Improving the image with color correction
- Open Sequence 2.5 and in here you see that the key is pretty good, but the color does not match the background at all. Let's work on that. Let's use the color correction section of Ultra Key. Select your top clip and go to the Effect Controls Panel. Expand the Color Corrections section. We're gonna see three values here. The first one is Saturation. This controls the saturation of the foreground. It is best to have it match the background as much as possible. If you need to work on the background footage to help you along here, sometimes that's easier. In this case, we're just going to adjust the foreground footage. I'm gonna leave this at around 80. The next setting is for Hue. This controls the hue for the foreground. Let's adjust this a little bit. I'm going to adjust this to around -5. Luminance; this controls the luminance of the foreground so that we can better match the background. I can make my clip really bright or really dark. I'm gonna brighten it up just a little bit and…
