Importing and working with multiple projects
- Premiere Pro 2018 has finally the ability for us to have two projects open at the same time. I want to show you a little bit of a hiccup with it and I want to show you, also, if you're using an earlier version for legacy reasons, maybe you're at a place that is still holding off on that upgrade, how to work with multiple projects. So, I'm in right now in Premiere Pro 2018. If I go up to the File menu, I can create a new project. I'm going to call this project, Example. When I do so, we now have two projects open up in Premiere at the same time. I'm just going to, for the moment here, undock that panel. It'll be a floating window. And I'll go here to my project, so you can see it. And we can pull files back and forth. This is a separate project, ready to go, and I know some people who will start to use this to populate it with common elements they would use.
