Importing an After Effects composition
- Besides making a new After Effects composition or swapping out some footage for a new comp, you can also import an existing comp. Let's go ahead and do that now. In Premiere Pro, I can choose file, Adobe Dynamic Link, import After Effects composition. This option will ensure that if the project updates, it updates in Premiere Pro. If you just want to import without the Dynamic Link, then you can just choose file, import, and it will bring it in but it will make it independent. I'll choose Dynamic Link in this case and I'll import the After Effects composition. I'll go to my desktop, and navigate to the exercise files folder, and go into the project files. This case, navigating to the After Effects project folder. What I'm going to do is select the end credit dot After Effects project. This now scans the project and tries to find what's inside.
