Healing noise in Audition
- During production, you need to get the strongest audio signal possible without it being too loud. You also need the noise in the environment to be as low as possible. This ratio of good audio versus noise is known as the Signal-to-Noise Ratio. The idea is to have good, strong signal and weak noise. One of the techniques that you should use is to decrease the distance between the source of audio and the microphone. This way you will decrease the levels of noise. Let's go to the very last clip here. And I'm going to mark in and out points, and I'll loop the playback so you can hear it better.
