…One of the things I like to do when…I'm marking footage to edit, and admittedly, it may…be a little old school, is I like to…play the section I've marked, just play into out.…Confirming that what I marked is in fact what I want.…So, if I want to play just in to out, and you…can see in my source in and out are already marked, it's as…easy as option+K on the Mac and it is one where the…short cut's a little different on the PC, actually quite a bit different.…It's control+shift+space.…So just option,+K because I'm on a Mac.…
And as you can see,…it plays only the…portion that's…been marked.…This is also quite useful if you're down on the timeline.…But it wouldn't be just to play the section that you've marked for editing.…
You could actually mark in and out on the timeline and that could be…just a single scene or just a single are that you want to play.…And one benefit of that is, now I'm not…going to play it all the way through, but option+K.…As you can see will automatically start you with the end…point and it's only going to play through the out point.…
