Join Jason Osder for an in-depth discussion in this video Go full screen with the accent grave key, part of Premiere Pro Guru: Essential Keyboard Shortcuts.
…There's one keyboard shortcut that deserves a movie all of its own.…And it's a very quick shortcut to toggle any of the panels to full screen.…And because things can get kind of crowded, especially if…you're on a smaller monitor, this is really, really convenient.…The shortcut is called either the Tilde or…Grave key, and it's right below the Escape key.…And the way this works, is that one tap on it takes any of the windows full screen.…So, there you see the timeline quickly going full screen,…toggling, and then same key again, back to where it belongs.…
It's triggered by where the cursor actually is, where your pointer is.…So, you can see at the moment, my timeline is still…active with the orange highlight, if I move up here I'm…not even going to click, I'm not even going to click…in the Program menu, I'm just going to put my pointer there.…And then I hit Grave again, and I've…activated my program viewer to go full screen.…And so, this works anywhere you are including the Project panel, to…make it nice and big and start to browse what's available to us.…
