Getting to know Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
The first step to learning any new complex system is to build a little bit of familiarity, and to be able to find your way around the interface. Increasingly as applications become more complex, it just starts to look a little bit of a whirl of buttons. You can see here there are so many panels in Premier Pro that even though Adobe has done a fantastic job of simplifying and cleaning up the display, it still gets pretty busy. So let's just take a moment to run through each of these panels, so we know our way around we can identify what each of the tools is for, even if we don't yet know how to use them. The first thing for you to see is of course, we've got this very flexible interface. You can have different sizes for your source and program monitor. You can grab and move these around and resize them as much as you like. You can also grab any panel, take the Effect Controls for example, and drop it into any frame to share with other panels.
