- Alignment can be a little bit tricky, but I want to show you an easy way to use Photoshop to quickly fix it, and even if you don't want to render the video out from Photoshop, you can easily determine the exact alignment that you need. Under the eyedropper tool here you have the ruler tool, and this allows you to click and drag a straight line for what you want to be straight. When you do that, you can easily measure up here, and I see that if I were going to use this clip I would need to rotate it negative two point five degrees. Well, that means if I take the clip into a tool like After Effects that'd be an easy fix. Let's just drop this into a new comp, press R for rotation, and type in minus two point five degrees, and you see it's straightened. That worked quite well. You would of course have to scale the footage up slightly to fill in the missing space, or you could stack it and layer it with multiple versions.
