Exporting video for the web and captions as a sidecar file from Final Cut Pro X

- Now that we've exported for broadcast, let's take a look at exporting for the web. We'll also create a sidecar file. In Final Cut Pro X, let's create another file. Things have already been properly aligned, so I can just go to the Export menu. If this is the first time you're exporting, I suggest you double-check the project settings, making sure that the frame size and the frame rate conforms. We had a small problem in our file, which is a pretty common mistake to make. I did it so that you would see it. But we fixed that in the previous chapter. Essentially, we went in to modify these settings and made sure that the project was set up to 720P at 329.97 frames per second. So now it's correct. All right, let's click in the timeline here so it's active, and we'll go to the Share button. Now, you could choose to create manual files here, or upload to Facebook. But if you go to Facebook, you'll have to manually upload the caption file. I'll show you how to do that later. But for now…
