Essential Production settings

- We have discussed checking the production settings, but I think it is time to go a little bit deeper into these settings, what they do and why they are important. We mentioned the production settings, but we didn't really go over them. Let's go ahead and go to file, production settings, general. In the general settings, we will see the renderer. This is for the Mercury playback engine. Whatever shows in here depends on the hardware that you have installed in your system. So in here I have an Nvidia card, so obviously it's showing me Kuda. It's showing me also OpenCL. You may see in yours, something like OpenCL or metal or others. Some of you may see Mercury playback engine software only. Remember that these are production settings that will apply to all of the editors that are using this production. So if one of the systems that are being used cannot possibly match this renderer, Premiere will choose the closest…
