- It's good to be able to add effects even when we're about to export. This saves us the trouble of closing the panel and adjusting the sequence. You can also save these effects at part of a preset and that's how they really shine, especially with overlays and applying lots. Let's go ahead and open the sequence named 2.8 Effects. So Sequences, Chapter two, and of course 2.8 Effects. Double click it and it opens in the timeline. In here please notice that my video file does not match the sequence size and that was done on purpose. I wanted the black borders around my video so that we could see things like the logo overlay or text a little bit easier. Let's go ahead and export this. So, File, Export Media or Control M, Command M on the Mac. And in here let's go into the Effects panel. Directly from here I can add a lot. So a Lookup table I can add it directly from here.
