EQ
- An equalizer or EQ is an effect that will let you balance different frequencies throughout your program. You will be able to select a specific frequency, or range of frequencies, and adjust their levels to increase or decrease their volume. For example: if you're working with a music clip in which you can hardly hear the base, you could add the EQ effect and increase the volume of the base only, making it more present in the mix. Let's go ahead and open sequence 3.2. And let's maximize this so we can see the waveforms a little bit better. (orchestral music) And this is of course the same trio that was playing before: piano, violin, and cello. And let's go ahead and add the EQ effect to this clip. Go to the Effects panel, and type in EQ. You will see that there are several different EQs in here, we want the one that is just named EQ, so drag it to the clip, and now in the Effect Controls panel you will be able to edit it.
