Join Jason Osder for an in-depth discussion in this video Designing custom workspaces, part of Premiere Pro Guru: Customizing Workspaces.
…When we talk about designing custom workspaces,…I don't primarily mean that you're going to sit…down with graph paper and start to…actually design what is the workspace I'm making.…Actually, while you could do that, my method is quite…the opposite, which is what I call an iterative method.…Meaning I just sort of pay attention to my…work habits and I make adjustments as they come around.…I save those adjustments from time to time but…then I keep adjusting if I want something new.…Periodically saving workspaces so I can come back to them and use them later.…
We'll look technically at saving them in a little bit.…But I want to talk a little bit about this…iterative process in the way I think about designing workspaces.…Here I'm starting with our editing workspace.…And one the things that I've already mentioned is…that I like to usually make a bigger timeline.…And that might be the first adjustment I make.…And then I would probably keep making them.…Sometimes I move things out of the way to have even more timeline space.…
