Join Jason Osder for an in-depth discussion in this video Default and custom workspaces, part of Premiere Pro Guru: Customizing Workspaces.
…When you first open Adobe Premier Pro,…you're in what's called the Editing Workspace.…And that's one of the default Workspaces provided when you get the program.…All of the default Workspaces are listed here under the Window…Menu and the Workspace Submenu, so now you see them all there.…Those are what are considered the default.…You also see, that you have some…possibilities for new workspace, resetting, and deleting workspaces.…We'll look at all of those in turn, but the point I want to make here,…are that these are the defaults, purpose based…workspaces that are already preprogrammed with the software.…
And then, any other adjustment you make becomes a custom workspace.…And if you want to save it, those are what the other choices on that menu are for.…So, defaults are built in and then, custom work spaces to your heart's content.…
