…One of the nice things about teaching and learning editing with Premiere…Pro these days is that a lot of things that a lot of…computer users are just used to, also work inside the interface, and…that's also true of a lot of keyboard shortcuts that you might expect.…In this case I'm thinking of copy, cut and paste which…work as you would expect them to and have the expected shortcut.…So if you know them you can, you can follow along with…me, but that's Cmd+C to copy, Cmd+V to paste and Cmd+X to cut.…
This works in any of the windows where it's applicable.…So, down on the timeline, once I've selected something, I can use…Cmd+C to copy, and then I can paste it on the timeline.…It's always going to paste where the play head is,…so that's Cmd+V, and of course we went to the…active track for the paste, but we can control all…of the targeting with the play head and the track targeting.…But we can copy and paste, and then the…other thing we can do is Cmd+X just to cut.…
And we can continue pasting or very similar or…
