- Alright, the raw file is opened and it's ready for transparency, which is why we shot on green screen to begin with. Abba, what's your favorite technique for selecting the green? - [Abba] Well, there's a couple ways to do this. The initial way is sometimes I like to select a color. I like to actually use color as my selection and I can select the green, which is great because that's exactly what you boosted when we took it from the raw file and brought it in. - [Instructor] So we can choose select color range, correct? And just click on that green and it makes an initial selection. Now, I notice that it's not perfect, because we have slight variations, but if we hold down the shift key and just sort of drag through it picks up that. Or we can even come over here and click right on this mat, and I get a pretty good idea of what's happening. We're seeing what's selected, but in this case the green is selected. I…
