- Let's walk through the process of creating a transcript. In this case I'm gonna use an interview. Now it's not a terribly long interview. I cut it down for purposes of making it easier for you to download, but the original interview was almost an hour long. So this type of service is extremely useful to make it easier to discover the content and edit. Now before we start transcribing it's not a bad idea to actually create a transcriptive account. This will help keep track of everything. What you could do is enter a username and password and information about you then click save. Now you'll notice that I'm logged in, so this'll help keep track of my transcripts. What I now need to do is make sure that the sequence is loaded. And then I can click the transcribe button. It's gonna take the currently selected sequence and tell you how many credits it's gonna take if you're using a particular engine.
