- So we've identified sync points, we've merged our clips in a couple ways, but what you might have noticed in some of the previous movies is that we had kind of a unique problem when we merged our clips. Let me show you what I mean here in this project. So here on my timeline I merged these clips in two different ways. One, this first way right here, not getting rid of the reference audio, and then in the second one I got rid of the reference audio and just merged it with the high quality audio. But in either case you can see that my high quality audio is much longer than the actual video clip. All this stuff right up here at the top, and a little bit at the end, that's just garbage, it was just the crew talking, but the audio guy was recording audio to the digital audio recorder, and I want to get rid of that.
