- The last variable retiming I want to do is something that you could call a ping-pong; I want to go in reverse. It's also called a palindrome playback. Basically, I'm going to sit back and take a section of the video and make it go backwards, and then its got to go forward again. So its got to kind of go forward, backwards, and forwards, and Premiere does all that with this variable remapping. Let's take a look. So here, I'm going to do what I've been doing so far. I'm going to make my track area taller. I'm going to zoom in a little bit on the clip with a couple pluses here. I'm going to change, with a right-click, the Time Remapping to Speed, and I'm going to set the fall moment here. Let's have her come up, she starts to fall right there, let's add a keyframe, Cmd + Click, let's go a little bit further, she falls, Cmd + Click.
