…I just showed you that Transparency…and Blending Mode data translated seamlessly from…Photoshop into Premiere Pro, but how about from Premiere Pro to After Effects?…Well the great news is, it works there too.…Both applications share the same setting for Blending Mode.…And remember, a lot of different options in the effects can also translate as well.…In Premiere here, I've done a really simple classic adjustment.…I had my footage layer and everything's fine, but…I wanted to soften things out and boost the contrast.…
A very simple way to do that is as follows, on an Adjustment Layer.…Simply apply a Fast Blur and of course.…Repeat the Edge Pixels so you don't get the little darkening at the edge.…Cranking that up creates a heavily blurred image.…And then try a Blending Mode, I'm a big fan of Overlay or Soft Light.…And these tend to do a really good job of popping the…contrast and reducing some of the noise and grain in the image.…I also think it gives it a bit of a filmic look pretty quickly.…
