Choosing the elements

So here we are in our Photoshop document. And I've renamed it Elements.psd just so you can find this amongst the various versions in our graphics folder. And I've got my three layers and now I need to pick out some contents to incorporate into this. Now obviously I could use all of the amazing tools in Photoshop to generate textures and use brushes and so on. But I want to make use of some of the contents I took out of my timeline in Premiere Pro. So I'm going to first of all, go in here and I'm just going to get the hand icon here and double-click on it, it's a little shortcut in Photoshop to view as a fit to screen. Double click on the magnifying glass to go 100% and the hand to fill the screen. Now, I'm going to get the Marquee Selection tool and I'm going to pick out a section of this to be the background for my strapline. I'm going to go quite wide and now, if I don't release the mouse, if I just hold the space bar down I can move this rectangle around. So I want the far left…
