Changing the interface to suit your needs
- To better work with the audio there are some interface changes that we can make so that we can easily see some of the options available to us. These changes can be made to the timeline and some of the panels. Mostly in this movie we will discuss timeline interface changes. Let's go ahead and open Sequence 1.4 from the Project panel. Expand Sequences and 1.4. The first thing that I would like to do is rename some of these tracks. For you to rename the tracks, the tracks need to be expanded so if you were showing them collapsed like this and you right-click, you won't be able to rename, however if you expand them a little bit you will be able to right-click right here in the heading and choose Rename. So let's go ahead and rename Audio 1, Mandolin. Another way that you have of renaming these tracks is simply by opening the Audio Track Mixer so click on Window and then choose Audio Track Mixer and it opens right here in this panel set. We can now look at the bottom of these tracks and…
