Audio channels together? No problem! Separate your audio tracks
- If you already imported your clips but need to separate the audio so that they will be separate channels in the timeline, you can easily do that by changing the clip audio format. Let's try that. Let's go ahead and navigate to our project panel, and go to the assets right here. In here let's go to the Multicamera bin, and let's look at the rhythm clip that we were working with before. As you see, we have the rhythm left and right that we had before, but we also have the original one with stereo. From the last movie we know that the content on the left and on the right are very, very different. One is the rhythm guitar and the other one is the drums. So, what I want to do is, I want to right click this and go to Modify, Audio Channels. When you choose to modify the audio channels this panel opens up, and in here you can use the preset to Use File, which is what we set in the preferences, but we can also change it on a clip-by-clip basis by choosing it like this.
