Attaching captions in Final Cut Pro X

- Let's take a look at another non-linear editing tool, Final Cut Pro 10, which recently added support for captions. The workflow is somewhat similar to Premier Pro, so if you're familiar with that workflow, you should find it pretty straightforward. When you launch Final Cut Pro 10, you'll need to make sure you have a library selected. And then go ahead and work with a project. Now you can bring up the import dialog. Just press Command + I for media import. Navigate to the exercise file folder and select the movie and click import selected. If you want, you can transcode and optimize the media, or just leave it in its native state. I'm gonna bring this in and not tell it to make any changes, since the clip is a finished project. And I'll click import selected. You'll see that the clip is added. Now what I'll do is drag the clip into the timeline. Once you've done so, you can start to add caption files.
