Continuing in the series about time blocking, Zack demonstrates several different web and iPhone applications that can help you properly organize your time blocks, help you set reminders to take breaks throughout the day, track your time down to the second, and even use his favorite iPhone app to manage time blocks on the go.
- [Narrator] In previous lessons,…I introduced you to the concept of time blocking,…and I also dove into the process…for helping to prioritize and eliminate…the distractions that are reducing your productivity.…In this lesson, I'd like to briefly walk you through…my favorite three tools for tracking your time blocks,…so they stick.…And, those tools are BreakTime, Toggl, and Focus Time,…which is actually going to be on the iPhone.…The first that I'm going to demonstrate briefly…is going to be BreakTime,…and you'll see that right now…I'm just at the empty Finder level.…
The reason is that BreakTime works on the Finder level,…and it's not a specific app or program…that's going to be running in a browser…or be running as an application.…It is right here in your Menu bar.…It's this little clock right here,…and it's about as simple as it gets.…You open it up,…you can see how many minutes you have until your break,…and then as soon as break time hits,…what happens…is you get a warning,…and it says it is time for your break.…
