This video explores how to apply basic animations to still images. You look at how to edit stills to music (including how to change shot duration and re-order shots). You also learn how to apply Position and Scale keyframes to these images in order to add pans and zooms. You learn the mechanics of basic keyframing in the Effect Controls panel.
- [Instructor] Now that we know how to bring still images in…as well as how to work with them in a sequence,…let's take it a step further.…Now, to be honest, it may not be too often…that you will just stick a totally static image…in your sequence.…Much of the time,…you're going to add at least a little movement to the image,…usually in the form of a pan or a zoom.…And if you're working with really high quality stills,…you're going to have a lot of room to do these pans and zooms.…So let's take a look at this very common maneuver.…I have this sequence here in the 8.2 bin,…and it just has some music in there,…and let's go ahead and lay our images in.…
It's in our images bin here, and here they are,…there's not too many, but we'll go ahead and just click,…and then Shift-click, and then drag them in.…Now, if you want to change the duration…of your clips all at once,…you can select them, and then press Command-R,…or Control-R on a PC, and then you can enter a new duration.…So let's say I want four seconds…instead of five seconds per clip.…
