Adjusting the motion of the matte

- To adjust the motion of the track, all you need to do is keyframe it. Disable the Track Matte Key effect so that you can see the shape. Select the middle clip, go the Effect Controls panel, and in here you can just disable the Track Matte Key by clicking right here. I will now make the middle clip invisible by clicking on this eye icon. I can now clearly see the matte. To keyframe it, all I have to do is select it, go into the Effect Controls panel, and keyframe both Position and Scale. At this point I'm not sure if I'm gonna need to make the matte a little bit bigger, so it's always a good idea to keyframe Scale. I can now move the play head a little bit to the right. I can do so right here in the Effect Controls panel, and as the saw moves to the right, I'm going to move the matte to the right as well. I can do that by just clicking and dragging, so I can double click right here in the Program panel and then just drag the matte so that it always covers the logo and the name of the…
