- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to look at adding shapes to our graphics layers inside of Adobe Premiere Pro. I'm here in my chapter one underscore seven sequence. And in my program monitor, I've activated to show guides as well as snapping in program monitor. With the program monitor selected, if this isn't showing go to the view menu and choose the guide template of safe margins. This is where we left off in the last movie. Let us select the type tool, first of all. And actually just type in here the name of this violinist. And if you were following along on the last movie we had a couple properties assigned to our text. And those are getting picked up on the creation of this new text layer. Let me head back now to the default selection tool. Those properties are the Proxima Nova Bold font with a fill of white and a background that was activated.
