Adding effects to individual clips
- I'd like to show you how to apply audio effects to clips, and particularly I want to focus on the perimetric equalizer and the multiband compressor, because those are the two audio effects I use the most. We're not going to really teach the depths of these, just where they are and how to get to them. I'm already in my audio workspace, but whether I'm there or I'm in editing, shift+7 will bring up my effects. I've already rolled open here all my audio effects. It's just a drag and drop at this point. First one I want to look at that you may want is a perimetric equalizer. I'm just going to drag that to a clip. With the clip selected, it appears in the effect controls. I'm going to press this edit button to bring up this gorgeous perimetric equalizer. I can go ahead and adjust individual points or come up to the presets and do things like a vocal enhancer. That's a really nice preset to enhance vocals. Closing this up, the other one that I want to show you is the multiband compressor.…
